Job Overview:

Iroquois Assembly Systems, Inc. is a Tier 1 supplier to the automotive industry, with customers in the US and Europe. We seeking a skilled and experienced CMM Operator/Programmer to join our team in Lake Orion, Michigan.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform quality inspections on machined parts and tooling. If you have a strong mechanical background and experience in precision measuring instruments, we encourage you to apply.

Duties:

-Programming Coordinated Measuring Machines (CMM) in PC-DMIS

- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect machined parts and tooling
- Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments
- Interpret schematics and CAD drawings to ensure accurate measurements
- Collaborate with the production team to address any quality issues
- Maintain detailed records of inspection results

Qualifications:

- 3 years' proficiency in programming and operating CMM equipment (Hexagon preferred)
- Familiarity with stamping machines and tooling processes
- Strong mechanical knowledge for interpreting technical drawings
- Experience with PC-DMIS software required
- Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring instruments effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
